But its wry humor and commitment to runners never misses a beat. Once the show moved to the streamer, it took on a new storytelling style that makes the overall five-season run feel distinctly split into two pieces in some ways. Mitch Hurwitz’s dysfunctional family comedy originally aired on Fox before becoming one of the first shows Netflix would “save” - by licensing new episodes and later ordering a whole new season.
